Multinational company which operates in water sector, is developing a huge project, in engineering area, based in Doha, Catar.
We're looking for a Framework Manager.
Mission:
The Framework Manager lead and directs the overall project implementation and execution activities to ensure a high standard and meeting service, quality, environmental and cost targets.
The Framework Manager is given autonomy in deciding how to resolve construction, operational issues but must follow policies set by the Saur Qatar. To coordinate with stakeholders and accept commitments on behalf of Saur Qatar.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Contribution:
- As a member of the Management team, contribute towards the formulation and implementation of overall business strategies and plans which enable the achievement of Ashghals mission and objectives.
Contractor Liaison:
- Negotiate and maintain relationships with third-party providers of construction, operational and other support requirements, so that the Company can fulfil its project execution plan and contractual requirements.
Project Management:
- The framework manager has the ultimate Management responsibility for the project to ensure suitable, sufficient implemented, monitored and reviewed the contract as required.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Lead the preparation of projects functional budgets and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
- Cost estimating and developing the budget and frequently review the budget and plan ahead to avoid massive budget overruns.
Requirements:
- University degree in Electrical, Civil, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification from an internationally recognized business school.
- Attendance on post-graduate executive programs in areas to include financial management, leadership, capital/asset management and strategic planning.
- Fluent in written, reading, and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Application.
- Fifteen years construction, operations, maintenance, or engineering experience in the utilities sector or in an industrial environment.
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction projects related to sewage pumping stations, treatment plants, excavation works, CIPP works.
- Experience of managing relationships with Government or other public representatives at a senior level.
