Your day to day
Conduct audits of daily revenue reports, including room revenue, food and beverage revenue, and other income sources.
Verify that all transactions are properly recorded and accurately reflect the hotel's financial activity.
Reconcile revenue accounts with supporting documentation, such as cash deposits, credit card transactions, and guest folios.
Ensure that all revenue is properly accounted for and that any discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
Review guest folios, invoices, and billing statements to ensure accuracy. Confirm that all charges, taxes, and fees are correctly applied and properly recorded.
Perform random spot checks of cash handling procedures, such as cash registers, petty cash, and safe balances. Verify that all cash transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for.
Analyze revenue trends and patterns to identify any irregularities or potential revenue leakage. Investigate discrepancies and work with relevant departments to rectify any issues.
Prepare regular financial reports, such as daily revenue reports, weekly summaries, and monthly income statements.
What we need from you
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field
