About this Role
We are launching a new, innovative product, and we are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our Dubai-based team. You will be responsible for building frontend web applications and backend services, creating seamless, interconnected web solutions that form the backbone of our product. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern JavaScript frameworks, ensure secure data management, and integrate third-party APIs and services. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, build and maintain frontend web applications using React / Next.js with Tailwind UI to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Build backend services using NestJS, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Work with and integrate databases such as Postgres / MongoDB and GraphQL.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services, such as ticketing systems, payment gateways, and secure file storage solutions.
- Implement secure file management practices to ensure data privacy and integrity.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers and other developers to build and optimize the entire application lifecycle.
- Use ticketing or issue-tracking software to manage project workflows, bugs, and feature requests.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance product functionality.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks including Next.js.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, building both frontend applications and backend services.
- Experience with Tailwind UI for creating responsive and modern user interfaces.
- Proficiency in NestJS for backend development.
- Experience with integrating third-party API integration and services.
- Familiarity with ticketing or issue-tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, etc.).
- Experience with Postgres or similar relational databases.
- Knowledge of secure file management and security protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Knowledge of authentication methods such as OAuth and JWT. Understanding of DevOps practices, GIT version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and ability to work with remote teams.
Note: This is an onsite position in our Dubai-based team.
