Short Description
International family-owned conglomerate, Dubai, executive who discusses strategy and balance sheet management with the CEO. Group treasurer with strong funding DCM track record in European market (must-have!), high remuneration (top 1% European group treasurer). Most likely former investment banker or strategy consultant.
Your most prominent task lies in the dialogue with the CEO and the related active balance sheet management. You are the deal captain in various international DCM transactions. You connect with business development and head the tactically oriented treasury team. You know where your organisation wants to invest. Together with your 10 person team you will structure the best leveraged finance solutions from fiscal, legal and other perspectives. You will select the banking and other partners to work with and negotiate the best results.
It is very likely this is a position for a former investment banker or strategy consultant who then went to the corporate side.
Both from functional as well as from personality perspective you can bring a lot to the table. You can present an impressive, European funding portfolio, your career line is steep. You have shown to be a strong people manager. And you worked not only on the banking side but also on the corporate side (this is a must), so you know about connecting to business colleagues and about operational tasks. As a person you are very result-oriented, a negotiator. Easily as important is that you can work in a family-owned company with many nationalities. You are aware that this is a demanding environment and look forward to having an impact.
The organisation is an international, family-owned, conglomerate covering various industries with a very strong balance sheet and an aggressive growth strategy. The multi billion $ revenue and balance sheet does not come with bureaucracy, opportunites are translated into deals very quickly. The company culture can be described with key words like entrepreneurial, hands-on, ambitious, Middle East towards international and therefore very multi-cultural. The treasury and corporate finance team is growing and holds talented members from many countries.
The salary level for this position is at a top 1% European group treasurer level. This is a confidential search, we will only disclose the name of our client after first screening meetings.
