Job Description

EAA is searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fundraising Coordinator to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll be the driving force behind our fundraising efforts, ensuring the smooth operation of all donation-related activities. You'll wear many hats, from managing donation boxes and collections to organizing successful fundraising events. Your strong communication and organizational skills will be essential as you liaise with partners, donors, and government entities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of donation collection, ensuring adherence to EAA's fundraising policies.
  • Oversee donation box placements, collection schedules, and record-keeping including (database, quantity, locations, status, collection dates, etc.)
  • Proactively cultivate productive relationships with potential partners to secure permissions for new donation box placements.
  • Navigate the approval process with RACA and other relevant government entities for both donation boxes and fundraising events.
  • Collect donations from generous individuals and ensure proper receipts are issued.
  • Collaborate with finance on cash collection, counting, and reporting.
  • Manage fundraising expenses and track campaigns /event costs.
  • Actively participate in the cash counting process.
  • Organize and execute fundraising events, handling logistics with precision.
  • Train and assess retail partnerships for awareness and fundraising efforts.
  • Secure media partnerships with newspapers to amplify EAA's message and campaigns.
  • Provide administrative, logistical, and PR support to the Fundraising team.
  • Obtain administrative requirements for donations in general and obtain approvals from the location owners, donors and EAA.
  • Handle the procurement system and processes for all team requests
  • Maintain the accuracy and validity of EAA's partnership agreements through internal updates and renewals.

To be a successful Fundraising Coordinator, you'll possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a proactive approach.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic and results-oriented environment.
