Furniture Designer

Qualifications

• Furniture Design and Product Design skills
• Carpentry and Interior Design skills
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to create detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, or related field
• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp)
• Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects
• Meet with the client to understand the client's objectives and desires
• Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed
• Maintain industry knowledge to stay relevant

Responsibilities

• Experience 1:2 years is a must in home furniture designs, preferably steel furniture
• Experience in space planning, architecture, and construction drawings
• Proficiency in interior design and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment)
• Creative thinking and attention to detail
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and other professionals
• Experience with CAD software and other design tools, 3D Max
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
