Prepare surfaces of furniture items by sanding, scraping, or applying sealants as necessary.- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to furniture using brushes, spray guns.
Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and finishes.
- Ensure quality and consistency of painted furniture products.
Perform touch-ups or repairs on finished products as needed.- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment.
Adhere to safety and environmental regulations regarding paint application and disposal.
Proven experience as a Furniture Painter or similar role.
- Proficiency in various painting techniques and methods.
Knowledge of different types of paints, varnishes, and finishes.- Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move furniture items.
Certification or training in painting and finishing techniques may be advantageous.
