We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the operations of our 5-star luxury hotel. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in managing multiple properties (cluster management) within Europe. The role demands a strategic leader with a strong operational background, financial acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Leadership & Management:- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional service standards.
Provide leadership and direction to department heads and staff, fostering a positive work environment.- Implement and monitor operational policies, procedures, and standards.
Cluster Management:- Manage multiple properties within the assigned cluster, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations.
Coordinate with other General Managers within the cluster to share best practices and drive performance.- Develop and implement cluster-wide strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
Guest Experience:- Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining luxury service standards.
Address guest complaints and issues promptly, ensuring swift resolution.- Regularly review guest feedback and implement necessary improvements.
Financial Management:- Develop and manage the hotel's budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
Monitor and control operational expenses while maintaining quality standards.- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Sales & Marketing:- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies to attract and retain guests.
Oversee the development and execution of promotional activities, including partnerships and events.- Ensure effective utilization of revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and rates.
Human Resources:- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure high performance and engagement.
Implement employee recognition programs and initiatives to maintain a motivated workforce.- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and hotel policies.
Compliance & Safety:- Ensure the hotel complies with all local regulations and industry standards.
Oversee health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff.- Regularly review and update security procedures to protect the hotel's assets.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Proven experience in managing 5-star luxury hotels.
- Prior cluster management experience within Europe is essential.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Languages:
Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
Ability to travel frequently within the cluster region.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
