Job Description

Our cliet is looking for a highly skilled and motivated General Manager to lead and establish the Accounting Consultancy operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with at least three years of consulting experience. This role involves setting up the team, overseeing operations, and driving the growth of our consultancy services in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement business strategies to establish and expand the consultancy in Dubai.
    • Identify market opportunities and develop plans to leverage them for business growth.
  • Team Setup and Management:
    • Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing team of accounting professionals.
    • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
    • Conduct performance reviews and manage career development for team members.
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the consultancy, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and high-quality standards.
    • Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
  • Client Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional service and support.
    • Manage client engagements from initial consultation to project completion.
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for the consultancy.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
    • Implement and maintain robust accounting systems and processes.
  • Business Development:
    • Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
    • Represent the consultancy at industry events, networking opportunities, and business meetings.
    • Drive marketing and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and market presence.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and industry standards.
    • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential business risks.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in accounting and consultancy.
Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting consultancy or related field.
    • Proven track record in a managerial role, with experience in team setup and operations management.
  • Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
    • Familiarity with the business landscape and regulatory environment in Dubai.
