Job Description
As a General Manager at THIL, you will oversee both the daily operations of the store and the sales activities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets. By embodying the essence of the brand through engaging leadership and maintaining THIL's luxury standards, you will ensure an exceptional shopping experience for clients. Ultimately, you will play a crucial role in driving the brand's growth and reputation in the local market.
This role will enable you to coordinate and support the effective management of the shop floor and sales team, as well as learn and grow in an environment surrounded by professionals with high determination and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure the store is running smoothly.
- Lead and guide the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
- Maintain THIL's luxury standards in all aspects of store and sales management.
- Analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Manage inventory and oversee visual merchandising to maintain store aesthetics.
- Provide training and development for staff to meet THIL's high standards.
- Ensure the store adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive and motivating work environment.Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.Drive utilization of client book and implement CRM strategies.
- Share the story behind our products and deliver our expertise.
- Train the team on new products and merchandise.
- Ensure stock loss is minimized by supporting management in conducting weekly inventories and bi-annual stock takes.
- Guarantee stock safety, accuracy, and compliance.
- Lead with creativity and inspire the team through briefings and direct coaching.
- Support the digital evolution of the brand and suggest ideas for its development.
- Be an ambassador for THIL with your enthusiasm and sense of excellence.
- Establish performance goals for the store and sales team, and regularly review progress.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute in-store promotions and events.
- Develop and manage the store budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
- Participate in community events to promote the THIL brand.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Retail Manager, or Sales Manager in luxury fashion or a related field.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Knowledge and understanding of fabrics and luxury fashion.
- Proficiency with point of sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Fluency in Arabic and English; proficiency in Italian or French is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs and the ability to implement strategies to improve performance.
- Effective communication skills.
- Results-driven with a commercial mindset, while maintaining a team player attitude.
