Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Customer Service Representative who is fluent in German to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our customer support department, you will provide exceptional service to our German-speaking customers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. You will respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product or service information with professionalism and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in German.
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues or concerns efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude at all times.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations with every interaction.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Document customer interactions and follow up as required.
  • Meet performance metrics including response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in German (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with customer service software or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in additional languages (English, French, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of our industry/products/services is a plus.
