Governance & Compliance Manager

One of our new Dubai based investment clients is looking to appoint a Governance & Compliance Manager to join their growing Compliance function.

Based out of the company's Downtown office, the Governance & Compliance Manager will join a small team of three compliance professionals who are responsible for imbedding a governance and compliance framework throughout group and subsidiary companies.

This is a truly exciting opportunity to join an energetic team, at a dynamic investment company, who invest across multiple sectors, including real estate, high end hospitality and leisure.

This will be a broad compliance generalist role, focusing on corporate compliance, covering code of conduct, whistleblowing, policies & procedures, training, monitoring, reporting as well as governance charters, DOA's and data privacy.

Our client is not needing candidates who are coming from highly regulated environments, so those from financial services will not be considered.

The successful candidate will have between 6 - 8 years (max) of experience within governance and compliance, ideally gained within a mix consultancy and in-house environments. Candidates should have UAE specific experience and be based here currently. Those with experience working at holding companies, semi government or family offices would be highly preferred.

Both Arabic and English are required for this position.
