About the Role

Ensure that regulatory obligations are promptly identified on a timely basis, assessed for risk, communicated effectively, and integrated into operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:

  1. Ensure external compliance tasks are planned, executed, and communicated effectively within the time and budget agreed with senior management
  2. Manage and supervise the work of other Compliance Managers
  3. Support Senior Management in implementing the ISO 19600 Compliance Management System
  4. Monitor the external environment for regulatory developments and changes
  5. Communicate regulatory changes to stakeholders through various channels
  6. Oversee and manage the regulatory compliance training for Associates.
  7. Conduct compliance risk assessments, including risk identification, assessment, quantification, and provide practical control recommendations for managing Compliance Risk to management.
  8. Follow up with stakeholders on open issues related to laws and regulations, ensuring understanding and compliance.
  9. Participate in appropriate forums and communications to discuss and escalate compliance issues
  10. Plan and manage special projects related to external compliance, such as IMTITHAL and Compliance Obligation Management Projects.
  11. Prepare and develop technical articles for communication campaigns.
  12. Track and manage government official visits, document key details, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders
  13. Manage the Compliance Training program.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in law; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance management
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Stakeholder management and project management experience
  • Candidate must be Arabic speaking
