Job Overview: The Government Relations Officer will be responsible for managing interactions with various government bodies to ensure compliance with regulations and support our renewable energy projects. This role involves coordinating administrative processes and maintaining positive relationships with government entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Government Compliance and Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Yellow Door Energy and various government departments.
- Ensure the company adheres to all local, regional, and national regulations.
- Prepare and submit necessary documents to government authorities in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with government officials to facilitate business operations.
- Monitor changes in regulations and policies, providing timely updates and recommendations to the management team.
- Administrative Support:
- Coordinate administrative processes related to regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Maintain organized records of all applications and communications with government entities.
- Support with Additional PRO Activities:
- Assist the Business Support Officer with employee documentation, including visa applications, renewals, and cancellations.
- Manage the acquisition and renewal of business licenses and permits, facilitating communication and transactions between the company and government entities.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian government regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in managing government relations and working with government entities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex administrative processes.
