Job Description
Responsibilites:
Incident Response: Assist in the detection, analysis, and response to security incidents and breaches. Coordinate with senior analysts to mitigate risks and recover from incidents.
Threat Analysis: Conduct basic threat analysis to identify emerging security threats and vulnerabilities. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
Security Audits: Participate in regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security incidents, investigations, and resolutions. Assist in the creation and updating of security policies and procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT and cybersecurity team members to implement security measures and enhance overall security posture.
Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your cybersecurity knowledge and skills
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices. Familiarity with common security tools and technologies is a plus.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and work effectively under pressure. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Certifications: Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), etc.) are a plus but not required.
Experience: Internship experience in a cybersecurity or IT role is preferred but not mandatory.
