We are seeking a skilled and imaginative Graphic Design Artist to join our creative team. The artist will play a pivotal role in visual storytelling, transforming concepts into compelling visual narratives that aid in educational development. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your artistic vision to our dynamic projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate scripts, ideas, and concepts into clear and compelling visual representations for eLearning videos.This includes: lower thirds, icons, bullet points, text, animations, typography displays, etc.
- Create detailed and visually engaging storyboards that effectively communicate the narrative, pacing, and composition of scenes.
- Curate and modify modern looking assets from sites like Shutterstock, and Adobe stock.
- Design illustrations and typography displays using Adobe Illustrator (they are not sketch-based). Designs must be created as final vector scenes that can be animated by a motion graphics team.
- Work closely with supervisors to ensure the storyboards align with the overall vision and goals of the project.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, making necessary revisions to achieve the desired outcome.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the visual language and style of the project, ensuring consistency throughout.
- Manage new projects and revisions of old projects, simultaneously.
- Review videos and leave constructive feedback that will enhance the final product.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in graphic design
- Storyboarding experience is a plus. Candidates must have strong visualization and storytelling skills.
- Strong typography skills.
- Be able to articulate and write instructions that are achievable for motion graphic animators
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Must be proficient in the English language. Must be able to understand complex sentences and concepts. Good grammar is necessary.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite: specifically Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Must be detail oriented
- Possess strong file management skills
- Candidate must submit samples of their previous work/portfolio for review
- Knowledge of Motion graphics (Adobe After Effects)
Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday, from 02:00 AM - 11:00 AM PST. (12:00 PM - 09:00 PM Cairo Time)
