Where does this role fit into the bigger picture
The Graphic Designer within the Marketing and Communications (Marcom) department will report directly to the Senior Design Manager. As part of the Marcom team, your main objective will be to support DFF's branding and communication efforts by delivering creative, innovative, and effective graphic design solutions.
The Graphic Designer
As a Graphic Designer within the Marcom team, you will have a passion for creating visually appealing designs that communicate our brand's message effectively. You will be responsible for designing a wide range of materials including digital and social media graphics, and more. This role requires exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and a good understanding of branding and marketing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be designing creative and impactful graphic work that span multidisciplinary aspects of design from branding, layout design, digital newsletters, and data-driven design and infographics.
You will be employing brand identity design principles to ensure that all creations align with our brand standards and messages.
You will be collaborating with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute design concepts.
You will be researching current design trends and incorporate this into your work to ensure our branding remains relevant and engaging.
You will be providing high-quality visuals for marketing campaigns, presentations, and other projects.
You will be preparing comprehensive design documentation and guidelines.
You will be employing Agile methodologies to manage design projects.
You will be participating actively in team meetings and reviews.
You will be ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and best practices in graphic design.
You will be maintaining comprehensive documentation of all design stages and changes.

Skills
You will have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
You will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in graphic design, evidenced by a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
You will have proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects.
You will have a strong understanding of branding, layout, color theory, and typography in digital & print media.
You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
You will have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
You will have familiarity with web design and multimedia content development, which is considered a plus, including animation and Generative AI.
You will have an understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
You will have experience working in Agile development environments, which is advantageous.
You will have experience with Arabic content development.
