Follow all relevant Marketing and Communication departmental processes, policies, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is conducted in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Demonstrate compliance with the organizations values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization.
- Visual Design Evaluation and Content Creation
Analyze and interpret marketing design briefs, developing design concepts and illustrations based on campaign objectives to elevate the Stock exchanges brand through innovative design concepts and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conceptualize and develop creative design solutions that effectively communicate key messages, product features, and brand value propositions.
Create and propose informative and engaging infographics, presentations, and reports, simplifying complex financial data into clear visuals, promoting effective communication, and understanding among diverse audiences while adhering to brand and design guidelines.- Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences, such as website interfaces, landing pages, email templates, and interactive multimedia content.
Research design trends and best practices to ensure the creation and implementation of cutting-edge visual designs for group requirements.
- Design marketing materials for diverse channels, including homepages, landing pages, email concepts, website graphics, social media assets, and print materials to enhance a cohesive and impactful brand presence.
Assist in creating multimedia content, including videos, animations, and interactive presentations, to enhance engagement and storytelling capabilities in marketing campaigns and communication materials.- Validate and assure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines in all design materials, maintaining visual coherence and brand identity across various channels and touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable visual representation for the group.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to understand project requirements and goals, to ensure designs reflect business needs and requirements.- Review and provide comprehensive feedback on designs through effective communication and teamwork to enhance design quality and overall alignment with the Marketing and Communication departments strategic objectives.
Serve as the initial point of contact for design creation across projects, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration to meet project objectives and timelines.
- Provide support across multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and adhering to budget constraints for successful project delivery and resource optimization.
- Social Media and Digital Marketing Support
Contribute to the design and refinement of engaging social media strategies and plans to build brand awareness, drive website traffic, and foster audience engagement.
- Research and Experience Analysis
Conduct research and analysis of industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform design decisions and ensure relevance and effectiveness of visual assets.
- Remain up to date on current design trends and best practices within the financial services industry, integrating innovative components into design strategies to ensure visually compelling communication that resonates with the target audience.
Conduct market research to inform compelling visual storytelling, ensuring accurate design assets for impactful communication on complex financial information, enhancing audience understanding and engagement.- Adapt design plans when required to suit market preferences to remain relevant across the stock exchange market.
Analyze the effectiveness of design assets by implementing data-driven approaches and incorporating user feedback, providing valuable recommendations for improvements in future design projects.
- Collect stakeholder feedback on design concepts, incorporating insights to refine and optimize visual elements for optimal alignment with stakeholder expectations.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain value-adding relationships with internal and external stakeholders, gaining insight into design preferences and requirements for effective design execution across the organization.
Collaborate with various Marketing and Communication functions (e.g., social media, content creation) to support optimum achievement of marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to conduct testing and optimization of design elements, layouts, and messaging to improve campaign performance and conversion rates.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
- Risk and Business Continuity Management
Conduct all activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner in compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
- Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
4 years experience in the Financial Industry within similar operations, preferably in a marketing or communication role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating visually compelling design assets.
Design Software:
Mastery of design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Sketch and other UI/UX design tools can also be valuable.Visual Design Principles:
Understanding core principles like composition, color theory, typography, and hierarchy is crucial for creating effective visuals.Web Design: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design can be beneficial for creating web graphics and user interfaces.
