We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Gynecology Oncology Specialist / Consultant to join our team. As a Gynecology Oncology Specialist / Consultant at SearchPlus HR, you will play a vital role in providing specialized and comprehensive care to patients with gynecological cancers.
In this role, you will diagnose and treat various gynecological cancers, including ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers. You will conduct thorough evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop personalized treatment plans, and perform surgical procedures when necessary. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and high-quality care for patients.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients medical history, symptoms, and perform comprehensive examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies, biopsies, and blood tests
- Diagnose and stage gynecological cancers, including ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the stage and type of cancer
- Perform surgical procedures, including tumor resections and minimally invasive techniques
- Prescribe and administer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other targeted treatments
- Monitor patients progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in tumor boards and other multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of gynecology oncology through continuous learning and professional development
