- We are Connexus International, a UK Based Overseas placement agent and we are working on behalf of our client who is a popular High End restaurant in Northern Ireland, UK

ALL VISAS WILL BE ORGANISED BY THE COMPANY AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF TRAVEL ON YOUR BEHALF TO NORTHERN IRELAND.
CANDIDATES MUST BE IN POSESSION OF A UKVI IELTS EXAM OR PREPARED TO TAKE THE EXAM AS THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR A UK VISA.
- Develop and create innovative menu items that are in line with current food trends and
customer preferences.
- Oversee the entire food preparation process, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to
perfection and presented attractively.
- Manage inventory and food cost control to ensure optimal profitability.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan and execute special events and
promotions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques, incorporating them into our menu offerings.
- Manage and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a clean and safe working
environment.
- Monitor and maintain quality control of all ingredients and food products.
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and Colleagues
- Liaising with Bar and Restaurant Managers for menu publications
- Working with the Management Team to delegate tasks
- Communicate, motivate and assist all staff
- Preferred Candidate:
- Training and experience of Head Chef level in a high-volume and high-end restaurant and capability of becoming Executive Head Chef.
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or a related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- In-depth knowledge of international cuisines and techniques, specifically European,
Italian, Mediterranean and Pan Asian
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional creativity and a passion for culinary arts.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Requirement to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays including Christmas as
required.
