Job Description:
Leads the Accounting Team, ensuring Accurate and Timely Financial Reporting for the Group and Subsidiaries.Responsibilities:
Oversees all Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, and Fixed assets.
- Manages the Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, and Accounting Systems.
Manage any change from one Accounting System to the other (and Manages the Parallel Run).- Reviews the Monthly Accounts Produced by Subsidiaries.
Prepares The Monthly Reports (showing Actual Vs. Budget, Analysis, Ratios, and Commentary), Financial Statements, and Consolidation Reports for the Group.
- Liaises with External Auditors during Audits.
Develops and implements Accounting Policies and Procedures.- Provides guidance and support to Senior Accountant and to the Finance Team in the subsidiaries and Manages the Performance of the Entire Accounting Team (including interns).
Manages the annual budgeting process for the group and subsidiaries (in collaboration with Project Cost Controllers).
- Authorities: Approves accounting Policies and Procedures, Manages and Trains the Accounting Team, and Oversees the Accuracy and Timeliness of Financial Reporting.
