Job Overview

As the Head of Brand Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand development, ensuring The Petshop grows awareness in the geographies we are available, making sure we engage with customers from all communities.

You will also be responsible for managing a multi-task team, with the accountability to deliver plans and campaigns to drive sales across our B&M stores as well as e-commerce.

It's expected from you to framework for brand development strategy and the deployment of it into different channels & platforms, including ATL, BTL and community driven initiatives, in a way the strategy is fully executed and promoting our brands, products and services.

We are seeking a candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong ability to thrive in a lean organizational structure, and a demonstrated sense of ownership in their work. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and ready to take initiative to drive brand success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company's goals and values, with a focus on building brand equity and recognition in the pet food industry.
  • Team Building: Manage a team responsible for the execution of various campaigns and initiatives, including design, social media, in-store activities, events and communities development.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, and more, to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. Important to highlight that includes all communication plan for stores and e-commerce.
  • Customer touchpoints: Plan and execute, along with the team, all touchpoints with customers via CRM activities, events, online presence (website & social media), in-store collaterals and more.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior within the pet food industry to identify opportunities and potential threats.
  • Product Launches: Manage the launch of brands & products within our stores and online, from concept (how to launch a specific brand, following guidelines and brand promise) to execution, ensuring effective communication and promotion to target audiences.
  • Public Relations: Manage PR projects alongside with agency, while cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to secure media coverage and endorsements.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and optimal allocation of resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in Marketing roles with focus on brand management.
  • Previous experience in the retail and pet industry would be a great plus.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
  • Team leadership and project management skills.
  • Passion for pets and a deep understanding of pet owner needs and preferences.
