Redstone Commodity Search are working with a bunker trading company looking to hire a seasoned bunker trader with team leadership experience to lead their global marine fuels trading team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for the back-to-back trading of marine fuels in the global market
• Grow and maintain a portfolio of clients and physical suppliers within the shipping industry to ensure maximum profitability
• Oversee global trading team and direct general trading strategy
• Stay up to date with evolving trends, pricing dynamics, and regulatory changes in the global and regional bunker markets, offering valuable insights to ensure client satisfaction
• Reports into the CEO

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Strong experience in spot trading a marine fuels portfolio a necessity.
• Proven team leadership/managerial experience, ideally including managing teams internationally
• Portfolio of transferable relationships in marine fuels (supply and demand side) a necessity
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
• Role can either be based in the London, Dubai, Athens, Singapore, or can potentially be hybrid
