Job brief
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our clients investment advisory firm as a Private Banking Head of Business-Client Relationship Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing our business-client relationships within the private banking sector.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall investment portfolios of his/her own Clients.
- Review the performance of investments and participate into investment decision and portfolio analysis.
- Liaising with the SEO to review sales and revenue targets for the relations managers and work diligently to meet the targets.
- Assist the Risk Officer and the Compliance Officer with implementing investment management policies and risk profiles.
- Forecast the change in financial market and the Clients market position.
- Provide update to date advice on investment strategies and study competition to find new ways to retain Clients.
- Providing the Board of Directors and Senior Management with periodic management information as to financial performance and condition, cash flow and budgetary variance.
- Advising the Board of Directors and Senior Management as to the hiring requirements and possible recruitments.
- Assisting the relationship managers with organizing meeting or events to reach prospective clients.
- Supporting the SEO by leading the new operations client relationship management function and helping the Applicant to achieve its strategic objectives in the future.
- Building long-term relationships with key clients and creating sales plans to source Clients and generate revenue.
- Supervising Relationship Managers to create plans to address clients business needs and advise them on creating profitable processes.

Skills & Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices within the DIFC regulations.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, asset classes, wealth preservation strategies, and financial planning concepts.
- Ability to relate to clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge & understanding of DFSA regulatory compliance and risk management practices within the private banking industry.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with a keen ability to identify and capitalize on potential business opportunities.
- Understand the immediate regional Global Wealth Strategy and the ability to plan own activities accordingly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) would be preferable.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in private banking, wealth management, or investment advisory services. Proven track record in managing high-net-worth clients and significant assets under management (AUM).
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in leading and developing teams of Relationship Managers.
- Proven business development skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow the private banking business.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality service to clients.
