As the Head of Business Development, reporting directly to the Chairman, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and cultivating relationships with key government decision-makers across African markets
- Developing and executing strategies to secure direct-award, negotiated contracts for major infrastructure projects
- Leading the end-to-end business development process from opportunity identification through to Closing the Deal
- Creating compelling value propositions and funding solutions tailored to client and country requirements
- Growing the company's reputation and business volume in target markets
You must have:
- 20-25 years of total experience, with 12-15 years specifically in government client engagement in Africa
- Strong background in EPC+F projects and negotiated contracts
- Civil Engineering degree (MBA from a reputed institute preferred)
- Proven track record in stakeholder management at ministerial/government levels
- Extensive network within African government ministries
- Experience in social infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
