Job Title: Head of Education.

The Opportunity:
Head of education and development for all fitness staff across the CORE Life Group. An integral part of the senior management team responsible for developing and managing an internal, external, and training academy syllabus to help educate, mentor, and retain a talented and passionate team of coaches and instructors.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and lead a modular syllabus in line with CORE Lifes's key educational pillars as well as a CPDi database for all fitness staff across the CORE group.
- Create and manage an internal and external development calendar in line with staff and department needs and objectives and lead all continuous professional development planning and delivery.
- Manage all aspects of the onboarding journey for all fitness staff and delegate accordingly.
- Develop a performance matrix to evaluate the effectiveness of various training programs and personal development to ultimately help improve staff feedback, coach retention, and client ratings.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning. encouraging coaches to pursue certifications, attend educational programs, and engage in professional development opportunities to ultimately expand their expertise and promotional prospects.
- Continuously evaluate and update training materials, standard operating procedures, educational resources, and training equipment to reflect best practices and industry-leading technologies.
- Support department leads on annual appraisals and takes the lead on all quality assurance.
- Work closely with Lead Performance coaches in developing and delivering engaging and strategic-led education to enhance coaches knowledge and skills in 5 key areas: coaching and programming, nutrition and recovery, analysis and testing, leadership and mentoring, soft skills, and administration.
- Work with the Fitness Director on new concepts and technologies to improve guest experience and employee processes.
- Work with the Fitness Director and Lead Performance coaches in developing and standardizing key training programs, and initiatives and integrating new technologies/software.
- Support the Fitness Director with building strong relationships with key suppliers and education organizations in line with our aspirations and core values.
- Support the Fitness Director in managing and determining the greater fitness department budget within approved guidelines.
- Support the Fitness Director in strategizing and developing a CORE Training Academy.
- Support the Fitness Manager, Lead Performance Coaches and Head of Group Exercise in team recruitment, promotional prospects, and appraisals.
- Support the Fitness Director on all health and safety policies, procedures, and legislation in line with the Saudi Ministry of Sport.
- Work closely with marketing and other heads of department on events, new initiatives, and products.
- Identify, select, and negotiate education and training partners, courses, and qualifications in line with our requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Education, Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning - related field.
- Certified Tutor/Assessor, and Internal Verifier (IQA)
- UKSCA, CSCS or ASCA accreditation
- 5+ years experience in a senior education and / or coaching role
- Experience working within a high-end private Members Club would be desirable.
