Job Overview
The Head of Performance Strategy will lead the development and execution of high-impact performance marketing strategies that drive measurable results across key business functions, including customer acquisition, retention, and overall revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and drive the overarching performance strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on customer acquisition, conversion optimization, and maximizing lifetime value (LTV).
- Work closely with the C-suite, marketing, product, and finance teams to create data-driven strategies that align with corporate objectives.
- Lead the formulation of performance marketing plans across digital and offline channels, ensuring integration with brand, product, and customer experience strategies.
- Optimization & Growth:
- Analyze market trends, competitor performance, customer behaviors, and campaign performance to identify new opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Design and implement frameworks for tracking and optimizing key performance metrics (KPIs), including cost per acquisition (CPA), customer lifetime value (CLTV), return on ad spend (ROAS), and overall ROI.
- Develop and manage end-to-end performance initiatives that maximize both short-term impact and long-term brand growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with key stakeholders in product, creative, data analytics, sales, and technology to ensure performance marketing strategies are effectively implemented and fully integrated across the customer lifecycle.
- Ensure alignment between performance marketing and customer retention strategies to maintain consistency in brand messaging and customer experience.
- Collaborate with the creative team to drive innovative ad creatives, messaging, and campaign ideas that resonate with target audiences.
- Data & Analytics-Driven Approach:
- Leverage data and advanced analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness, refine targeting strategies, and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead the adoption of performance measurement tools, advanced attribution models, and A/B testing frameworks to drive continuous performance improvements.
- Establish a culture of experimentation, ensuring that testing, optimization, and learning are integrated into every phase of the performance strategy.
- Budget & Resource Management:
- Own the performance marketing budget and allocate resources efficiently across channels to meet short- and long-term growth targets.
- Monitor and optimize budget spend across various channels (e.g., paid search, social, display, email, affiliate, etc.) to maximize impact.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on performance and ROI to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience:
- 6 years of experience in performance marketing, digital strategy, or growth marketing.
