Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Photography & Videography to join our team. This role is crucial in hiring, managing, and assigning photographers and videographers for our shoots worldwide, focusing on the GCC and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, screen, onboard, and manage our network of talented photographers and videographers
- Evaluate candidates CVs, experiences, equipment, and portfolios to ensure they meet Shootday's standards
- Brief and assign photographers and videographers to projects based on their skills, availability, and project requirements
- Collaborate with the post-production team to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Stay updated on the latest photography and videography equipment and techniques
- Maintain effective communication with clients, talent, and internal teams
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and to Shootday's quality standards
- Handle any issues or conflicts that arise during projects
Qualifications
- Strong background in photography, videography, visual arts, creative direction, or media production
- Proven experience in managing photography/videography teams
- Excellent knowledge of the latest cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and post-production tools
- Strong ability to evaluate visual portfolios and technical skills
- Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills
- Ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment
