Role Overview: Axian Group is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Head of Product for its Consumer FinTech business. As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of product strategies for consumer-focused FinTech solutions, including wallets and banking services. Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product management roles within the FinTech industry, with a focus on consumer-facing digital wallet and banking services.
- Proven track record of leading product teams to successfully launch and manage consumer FinTech products at scale.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape in Africa's financial services sector.
- Experience in partnership management, user experience design, and data-driven decision-making.

- Market Research & Customer Insights: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer surveys to identify market trends, opportunities, and pain points. Use customer insights to inform product strategy, prioritize features, and drive innovation.
- Product Development & Management:** Lead cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, engineers, and analysts to develop and manage consumer FinTech products from ideation to launch. Drive the development of user-friendly, secure, and scalable digital wallet and banking solutions.
- Wallet Services: Oversee the development and enhancement of digital wallet services, including peer-to-peer payments, money transfers, bill payments, and mobile top-ups. Ensure seamless integration with banking services and third-party payment networks to provide a comprehensive financial ecosystem.
- Banking Services: Define and optimize banking services tailored for consumers, including account management, savings, loans, and investment products. Leverage technology and data analytics to personalize banking experiences and drive customer engagement.
- User Experience (UX) Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for digital wallets and banking applications. Optimize user journeys, navigation, and features to enhance usability and satisfaction.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics, customer feedback, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Partnership Management: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, technology providers, and other stakeholders to enhance product offerings and expand market reach.
