Job Description

The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide a team of sales professionals while maintaining key client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and determine the optimal structure for the sales department

- Review and establish the annual sales strategy, aligning it with company goals

- Develop and implement marketing strategies to support sales initiatives

- Set, implement, and monitor annual business plan goals and commercial plans

- Provide leadership and management expertise to coordinate sales efforts effectively

- Ensure sales team members perform as per expectations and attain sales targets

- Conduct sales pitches, attend meetings, and assist team members in closing deals

- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key clients and stakeholders

- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to senior management

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the shipping or logistics industry

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

- Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and regional shipping industry

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Arabic (*requirement*)

- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate sales teams

- Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools

- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
