Our client is currently looking for a seasoned and dynamic Head of Supervision with a strong architectural background to lead our supervision team in Dubai. This pivotal role entails overseeing the execution of architectural projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, an in-depth understanding of the construction process, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight:
- Lead the supervision of architectural projects, ensuring all work is executed in compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain the highest quality of work.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Inspire and mentor the supervision team, fostering professional growth and encouraging a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Develop training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge in architectural supervision.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and uphold rigorous quality control measures to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Review and approve contractor and subcontractor work to align with architectural designs and specifications.
- Client-Facing Leadership:
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports to clients, demonstrating transparency and proactive communication.
- Advocate for client objectives throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring their vision is realized in the final outcome.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural supervision or project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record supervising large-scale mixed-use developments, such as high-rise towers and hospitality projects, particularly within the UAE or Gulf region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Thorough knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in architectural software and project management tools.
