ROLE:
The Social Impact Leader will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our organization's social impact strategy. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including employees, community partners, and industry leaders, to drive initiatives that align with our corporate values and enhance our social and environmental footprint. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, and community engagement, with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve measurable social impact goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive social impact strategy that aligns with the organization's mission, values, and business objectives
- Program Development: Design and implement programs and initiatives that address key social and environmental issues, such as sustainability, diversity and inclusion, community development, and philanthropy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, community organizations, non-profits, government agencies, and industry peers.
- Measurement and Reporting: Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the impact of social initiatives. Prepare and present regular reports on program effectiveness and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Communication and Advocacy: Serve as the organization's spokesperson on social impact matters. Communicate the organization's social responsibility efforts through various channels, including social media, press releases, and public speaking engagements.
- Employee Engagement: Promote and facilitate employee involvement in social impact activities, such as volunteerism, fundraising, and advocacy efforts.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Identify and cultivate partnerships with organizations and initiatives that align with the organization's social impact goals. Leverage these relationships to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all social impact initiatives comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in CSR and sustainability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Business, Environmental Studies, Public Policy).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, community engagement, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in developing and leading social impact programs and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of social and environmental issues and trends.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong project management and organizational skills.
