Job Purpose

:Responsible for managing the development of ADG's Group strategy and business plans as well as ensuring successful implementation thereof, in addition to monitoring the overall Group

.
Key Roles & Responsibilitie

  • s:Strategy Formulation- Develop the objectives & KPIs for the Department, monitor the operating results, and ensure that appropriate measures are in place to achieve targeted objectives, reduce risk and make accurate decision
  • s.Budget & Cost Control-Develop the Department's annual budget and ensure maintaining costs and expenditures within the set budge
  • t.Policies & Process-Develop Policies & Processes for the Department in line with ADG's standards and other applicable laws and regulation
  • s.Continuous Improvement-Provide input and recommend continuous improvement as per leading practices taking into account international best practice changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plan
  • s.People Management-Identify the manpower requirements for the Department and ensure hiring a highly professional and knowledgeable workforc
  • e.Conduct annual performance appraisal for subordinates and recommend salary increments and promotions accordingl
  • y.Identify the training needs of employees and ensure training & development initiatives are successfully delivered and provide feedback to the Direct Manage
  • r.Delegate responsibilities and assign tasks to subordinates to facilitate performing different tasks and work-related activitie
  • s.Manage subordinates attendance and leaves to ensure complying with ADG's attendance policy, as well as the availability of proper replacement during subordinates leave
  • s.Corporate Performance Management-Manage the development of ADG's Corporate Performance Management outlining the required systems towards achieving the ADG's strategic objective
  • s.Manage ADG's Group performance through tracking and monitoring progress in achieving strategic objectives & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) against set targets and raising flags in case deviation
  • s.Work closely with each Division to ensure ADG's strategy, mission and vision are translated into departmental business plan
  • s.Work with Division Heads to support development of business plans & KPIs in line with ADG's strategy. To support development of business plans & KPIs in line with ADG's strateg
  • y.Manage the development of a reporting and monitoring framework/syste
  • m.Identify opportunities and drive changes to improve implementation and evaluation of strategic and business planning processes in ADG to enable better performance tracking and reporting capaci
  • tyLiaise with ADG's Group functions to develop scorecards and identify relevant KPIs at the corporate and functional level
  • s.Manage the process of reviewing and resolving issues related to corporate performance management to rectify performance in the event of any deviation from the action plan
  • s.Manage the preparation of periodic corporate performance management and business reports showing key indicators, trends, relevant external information, risks, and areas that require management's attentio
  • n.Ensure that decisions made by different functions support the value stream of ADG's Group and end-to-end processe
  • s.Create the necessary awareness for employees with respect to corporate performance management processes, methods, and system
  • s.Keep abreast of the trends and development in the global business to assess their impact on the group and make recommendations accordingl
  • y.Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manage
  • r.Reports-Establish a transparent and comprehensive reporting mechanism, to maintain the CEO awareness of major activities and performance results of the ADG and the functio
  • n.Review and present reports on the budget activity for the function, including identification of potential problems and recommendations for corrective actions, forecast trends and makes recommendation
  • s.Review periodic reports prepared by subordinates to draw insights about the current business conditions and facilitates the decision-making proce
