About the Position
We are currently seeking a Head of Technology Planning (M/F) to join our team at STELLARIX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Establishing the Technology Planning vertical within STELLARIX to design and execute technology strategy, including service delivery, solution design, architecture, and project management for all STELLARIX services.
- Delivering reliable, robust, secure, scalable, and agile future-proof technology platforms, including private cloud solutions for STELLARIX.
- Providing Infrastructure solutions such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Application as a Service (AaaS) as per client needs.
- Forecasting, planning, and tracking all IT assets for STELLARIX and its services.
- Planning and tracking budgets in compliance with financial prerequisites and business planning guidelines.
- Conducting weekly architectural forums with the team to ensure optimized solutions are designed and delivered within the technology ecosystems.
- Liaising with procurement and legal teams to conduct new RFQs, respond to client bids, prepare documentation, and ensure all prerequisites are met.
- Managing vendors for solution delivery and working with third-party business partners to deliver technology products.
About You
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Technology Planning within IT, Infrastructure, Telecom, Fintech, or a similar domain.
- Hands-on experience as a Solution Architect and Service Delivery for IT and Enterprise systems, including the design and handling of Public and Private Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Hands on experiences in setting up tools and services for Supervision and Monitoring operations, including ITSM and NOC.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure virtualization stacks, microservices-based architecture, and Kubernetes platforms.
- Good understanding of software development, Agile development, and DevOps practices.
- Strong people management skills, including team support, task delegation, and feedback provision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage internal business teams and technical service providers.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding client needs and providing solutions that meet their business objectives.

Special Requirements

- Fluency in English is required; fluency in French is a plus.
Location
This is a full-time position based in Antananarivo, Madagascar, with regular travel to other operations in Africa.
