Job Role Summary
To coordinate the delivery of the health, safety, and environmental requirements for LEGOLAND Dubai. The Health & Safety Coordinator will maintain a high standard of health and safety within the Resort by complying fully with the safety management system which is integrated into all working practices across the organization. They will take pro-active steps to maintain LEGOLAND Dubai as a safe place to work. Undertake visit where accidents or incidents do happen, to take all reasonable steps to prevent any re-occurrence.
Operations
Marketing
The Health & Safety Coordinator will be required to support the Special Events Team and will participate in events activity.
Financial
Assist with implementation of cost-effective safety management/accident prevention strategies to control direct and indirect costs arising from work related accidents and ill health involving guests, employees and contractors.
Act as liaison with relevant enforcement authorities to ensure accidents are reported in a timely manner in line with relevant legislation.
Development
To attend Company training programmes to develop capabilities such as People Management skills and Health and Safety functional competencies Use the Personal Development Plan program in conjunction with your line Manager to identify areas of growth potential.
People
Liaise with appropriate bodies and provide advice to ensure the requisite safety standards are followed in respect of new projects/attractions both in terms of design/operation and project management.
Assist with implementation of Group Food Policy as required.
To promote the importance and value that a positive safety culture makes to the business and the role that management and staff need to play to ensure its success.
Health & Safety
To assist the Head of Health and Safety in ensuring a high standard of health and safety is maintained across the resort and to strive for continuous improvement. They will be required to stand in for the Safety Team Members in their absence to cover meetings, training etc.
You are responsible for the safety of yourself, your colleagues and guests, in line with the Group Policy (HS001) and the law. In particular, you must ensure that you follow safe working procedures for all work activities that you undertake, and you must not use any tools or equipment for which you have not been trained. Where incidents do occur, you must ensure that they are reported to your line manager and must cooperate with any investigation as appropriate.

Education
Preferable a NEBOSH International General Certificate.
