Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Health and Safety Technician at The Blue Square in Riyadh. The Health and Safety Technician will be responsible for performing daily health and safety inspections, conducting risk assessments and analyzing data, communicating safety procedures and protocols to employees, and assisting in the development and implementation of safety training programs.

Responsibilities:-

Develop plans to secure the facility, its workers, and those who frequent it from the risks to which they may be exposed.

Develop a comprehensive plan to organize the work in his department.

Supervising the organization of work in his department by specifying tasks and duties for subordinates and ensuring they understand them.

Selecting appropriate employees to work in its management.

Technically and administratively supervises the workers under his management and working to develop them, raise their efficiency, and train them.

Study the organization followed in the facility and make his security observations.

Supervising raising security awareness among employees in other departments.

Reviewing the periodic reports received from subordinates, supervising their analysis, studying the problems they highlight, and preparing the final report to submit to senior management.

Ensure that the establishment takes into account the legal obligations that have a security impact on it and monitors their implementation.

Providing a complete and continuous picture of the facility's security status to senior management.

Ensure that subordinates and other departments implement the plan's items.

Quick action in emergencies.

Taking into account the facility's implementation of occupational safety and health instructions.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in Occupational Health
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certification or bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or a relevant field
• Experience in a similar role is a plus
