Developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Conducting risk assessments and providing recommendations for hazard control measures.
Organizing and conducting safety training programs for construction and landscape teams.
Investigating incidents, accidents, or near misses, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate HSE requirements into project planning and execution.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives.
Ensuring that all personnel have access to and effectively use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Advising on waste management and environmental sustainability practices in construction and landscape projects
Accountable for creating and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment in construction and landscape projects. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, implementing effective safety measures, conducting thorough investigations, and providing continuous education and awareness to the workforce. The HSE Officer plays a crucial role in mitigating risks, preventing accidents, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree /Diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent
