Key Accountabilities:- Delivery & Operations: Drive heavy duty vehicles in order to transport goods to and from specified destinations in accordance with assigned schedules. Operate according to a delivery schedule in liaison with the Supervisor to ensure collection and delivery to the specified location is carried out appropriately and in a timely manner.
Vehicle Movement:
Managing movement of heavy duty vehicles within Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and other parts of the UAE. Assist customers with moving vehicles for purposes such as vehicle registration to ensure that the sales process can be completed.Log Book:
Promptly update log book on a daily basis to record trips done, arrival and departure times of destination, type of vehicle delivered and pick-up/drop-off locations.Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Maintain own vehicle to ensure it is in a working condition at all times. Monitor its physical condition before use i.e. fluid levels, tyre pressure, brakes, lights, wipers and turn signals are in order and check whether safety equipment on board is functioning. Provide information on required maintenance works to warehouse supervisor in order to sustain the continual utilization of vehicles.
- Secondary School Education Certificate.
UAE Heavy Duty Driving Licence.
(For both Truck and Bus)- 4 years of minimum experience as a Heavy Duty Driver within automotive industry.
