Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dance Teacher to join our team. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dance instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. Your main objective will be to foster a love for dance while developing the technical abilities and artistic expression of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dance lessons that align with the curriculum and objectives of the dance program.
- Instruct students in various dance styles, such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, or other specialized genres.
- Teach proper dance techniques, including posture, alignment, coordination, flexibility, and rhythm.
- Develop and execute choreography for performances, recitals, competitions, or showcases.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills and reach their full potential.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, discipline, and self-expression.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with different learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds.
- Monitor student progress and evaluate their performances through assessments, examinations, or auditions.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding class schedules, performances, and other related information.
- Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and developments in dance education by attending workshops, conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dance Teacher or relevant background in dance instruction.
- Proficiency in one or more dance styles, with comprehensive knowledge of technique, terminology, and musicality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters student growth and confidence.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver well-structured dance lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
- Organizational skills to manage dance schedules, performances, and administrative tasks.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching dance.
- CPR and first aid certification
- Bachelor's degree in dance or a related field (preferred).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
