Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area of the floor.
Checks the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs.
Ensures that the entire operation is performed as per the laid down standards.
Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members
Routine inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards.
Aware of all room categories and amenities.
Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Carry out lost and found procedures.
Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department.
Assist Housekeeping Manager with training requirements.
Represent the needs of the team to others in the hotel.
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
Ensures Housekeeping Heartists are familiar with in house facilities for the purpose of assisting guests and to ensure and perform a proper use of all the equipment and property management system, to have a perfect knowledge of the set ups.
Ensure a close co-ordination with the Front Office, Engineering, Food and Beverage ,Security as well as the Guest Relation regarding usual and unusual guest requests
Appraise appearance, discipline and efficiency of all staff under direct supervision and initiate immediate remedial action if necessary and set performance targets for all Heartists, constantly monitor and increase productivity and as well helps Heartist improve their skills and provides support for career development
Ensure the strict control of room keys and section keys and a proper coverage, supervision of the Housekeeping sections at all times and implement and follow up daily check lists
To implement housekeeping related HACCP procedures and involved in sustainable development and to apply energy and waste management.
To act as a representative of the Management when dealing with guest complaints or if an Heartist of the Housekeeping is facing difficulties that she/ he cannot solve on her/ his own. And ensure that all Heartists are treated fairly and consistently as outlined in their terms and conditions of employment, local legislation, and company / hotel policies and procedures.
Flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.

Diagnose problems and thoroughly analyze information to guide decision making ,Evaluate and assimilate critical information when reaching conclusions and make logical, competent decisions
Guarantees a high standard of service for guests in hotel rooms and common areas in line with hygiene and safety standards and monitoring Heartist to ensure guest receive prompt and courteous service and attention and particularly those of priority members, known repeat guests and other VIP's receive special attention
Supervise that all designated public areas are cleaned and maintained as per established standards, set-ups and schedules and offer assistance at any time in the operations and to monitor, highlight and suggest improvements on any dysfunction
Make daily room and public area inspections as per designated sections and to report any deviation from standard set-ups and maintenance. To follow up on the out of service rooms. And ensure proper linen supply for the designated floors
Qualifications
Saudis ONLY
Previous experience in the Housekeeping department
Good English Language
Competent user of desktop applications and hotel applications
