KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Treats patients by visiting his/her home.
- Daily Prepare medical bag to fulfil patient needs.
- Therapist must reach his appointments according to his schedule time.
- Assesses and puts a plan of treatment for the home visit patients.
- Gives chest therapy treatment for home visit patients based on the needs of the patients and for female patients in pre and post-partum, physiotherapist (female) conducts specific exercises.
- Gives manual therapy and medical exercise for home visit patients.
- Make sure that you return all treatment tools into the medical bag after patient received treatment sessions.
- Returns any machine or equipment used in the store room to its proper place and record it in the store document.
- Have the responsibility to keep the equipment and machines sterilized before and after each session.
- Before start appointments make sure all machines are working in proper way.
- Guide and follow up with physiotherapy technician.
- Available for an on-call treatment of patients.
- Implements appropriate policies and procedures to achieve the hospital's goals and objectives in pursuit of Standards of Care, quality performance improvement.
- Participate in patient and family education to help patients and families to better understand and participate in their care and make well informed care decisions.
- All patient documentation must be written.
- Performs other duties within the range of his/her professional knowledge and skills as directed by his direct manager.
Necessary Knowledge and Experience:
- Essential: One year experience as physiotherapist.
- Desirable: Two years experience as a physiotherapist.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Essential: B.Sc. in Physical Therapy, certified by the Ministry of Health
- Desirable: Have attended courses of physiotherapy programs held by a physiotherapy group or has Master degree.
