We are seeking Hosts / Hostesses. Hosts are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Hosts take charge in the space and have extensive knowledge of our food and beverage offerings and are people-oriented, charismatic, fun and engaging Hosts are the face of the business and vital to ensure each Guest has a memorable experience each and every visit. Hosts report directly to the Reception Manager.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Ensure all guests receive an excellent welcome and good-bye, delivering personalized experiences for all
- Manage all reservations systems to ensure maximum guests can use the facilities
- Deliver personalized experience for all guests, greeting them by name, knowing their likes and ensuring they receive 5 star service throughout their visit
- Build and maintain client database
- Manage the flow of the day, including managing simulator assignments andevents
- Ensure opening and closing procedures to ensure the space is properly cleaned and ready for customers
- Have an in-depth understanding of our simulators and booking to properly handle all customer requests
- Take pride and ownership of each Guest's enjoyment and fun at Five Iron Golf
- Help to coordinate league payments and team schedules
- Ensure a positive customer experience and that all contracted services for events are delivered, ultimately driving return business and word-of-mouth recommendations
- Act as on-site lead during events including greeting event guests, preparing the space, resolving issues or complaints, etc.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 Years Host And/or Hospitality Experience Required
- Upbeat energy and enthusiasm
- Positive Can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work with a team
- Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time
- Proficient verbal and oral communication skills
- Excellent IT skills, able to use all Microsoft office applications, and online reservation tools
- Able to be proactive and anticipate guest needs
- Flexibility to work a variety of working shifts and patterns
