Responsibilities
- Develop business plans and set targets to increase revenue and maximum profit for hotel management.
- Implement sales and marketing strategies necessary to attract customers to patronize the hotel.
- Maintain a clear understanding of hotel policies and ensure compliance.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify new markets and business opportunities.
- Oversee the recruitment and training of hotel sales representatives and other hotel staff.
- Find work with large organizations such as churches, sports clubs, or businesses to convince them to sponsor their hotel.
- Prepare and distribute promotional and advertising materials to create awareness of the hotel's products/services.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all services offered by the hotel to conduct successful sales.
- Explain and notify customers of recent promotions and options available for hotel services.
- Oversee customer account management and service tab.
- Collaborate with event and wedding planners to ensure increased patronage and hotel bookings.
- Oversee the processing of payments and provide discounts to the customer when necessary.
- Assign job duties to hotel staff and ensure effective performance of assigned tasks.
- Oversee the Hotel Customer Service Unit to ensure compliance with set standards of hospitality and customer service.
- Maintain contact with clients to obtain feedback and encourage continued patronage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
