Our client, a strong brand within the luxury hospitality sector is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to join their team. As the HR Director, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction of the HR function and ensuring the growth and success across multiple global sites and locations.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering the HR strategy while ensuring its alignment to the business strategy and objectives. Develop and implement strategic human resources plans and functions to meet the business needs. Implements policies and regulations. Ensure the business has the best in terms of talent, reward, leadership, culture and learning for its employees.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and values. Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team in delivering innovative and effective HR solutions
- Talent Acquisition and Retention: Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent for various roles within the hospitality industry. Implement retention strategies to foster employee loyalty, reduce turnover, and maintain a skilled workforce
- Training and Development: Design and implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and competencies of employees at all levels. Partner with department heads to identify training needs and ensure continuous learning opportunities
- Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning. Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to drive performance excellence
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. Address employee grievances and conduct investigations as needed
- Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards
- HR Compliance: Stay abreast of labor laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the hospitality sector in Egypt. Ensure HR policies, practices, and procedures are in compliance with local regulations and company standards
- Organizational Culture: Promote a positive and inclusive organizational culture that reflects the company's values and fosters employee engagement, teamwork, and innovation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification preferred
- Proven experience of at least 10-15 years in HR, with 5 years in a Leadership role within the luxury hospitality and hotels industry, with a track record of success in driving HR initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor laws and regulations pertaining to the hospitality sector
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR projects and initiatives within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
