Missions/Main Duties
- ad the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential HSE issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to all employees on HSE protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with management to establish HSE performance metrics and monitor progress towards goals.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Prepare and present HSE reports to stakeholders, highlighting compliance status and areas for improvement.
- Serve as the primary contact for external regulatory bodies and inspections regarding HSE matters.
Profile/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with any discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management within the Construction industry is a proffered.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards relevant to the industry.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing safety management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess HSE challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or similar HSE credentials are highly desirable.
