Job Description

  • Adhere to HSE policies, procedures and controls
  • Set HSE requirements and monitor adherence to the requirements
  • Monitor compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across project
  • Ensure that contractors adopt recommended safety technology and equipment during project delivery
  • Maintain and update consolidated statistical data of all HSE incidents
  • Manage research initiatives on HSE issues
  • Advise on environmental monitoring and compliance
  • Produce an environmental development plan for post-construction if needed
  • Prequalify contractors and other service providers on environmental policies and qualifications
  • Conduct HSE compliance audits of projects and operations
  • Participates in the development and implementation of design office and project safety plans
  • Assign and provide technical supervision of safety performance, qualifications and programs
  • Conduct safety audits through review and analysis of performance of safety records and safety inspections

Requirements


Education

  • Bachelors/ Masters/ PhD in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent

Experience


  • 7+ years experience in an HSE function working directly with engineering contractors
