Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in water transmission and water tank projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and for promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures specific to water transmission and water tank projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and documentation.
- Provide HSE training and support to employees and contractors.
- Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international HSE regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE management, specifically in water transmission and water tank projects.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
- Proven experience in conducting site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
