  • Promoting HSE awareness campaigns among employees. Conducting HSE inductions / trainings to new and current employees.
  • Timely monitoring and updating of HSE statistics and maintenance of remote monitoring systems and analysis of data.
  • Carryout tasks, reports, analysis etc.as assigned by the QHSE manager.
  • Conduct daily inspections/safety observation walks in all operations areas to ensure all Quality & OHS rules and adhered by workforce.
  • Conduct workplace HSE inspection and compliance checks as per the annual inspection plan.
  • Monitor and update the HSE observations/incidents and corrective/preventive action trackers to ensure timely closure of all HSE actions.
  • Schedule, organize & conduct weekly, monthly internal and external HSE trainings to the workforce and keep the records.
  • Assist QHSE Manager during the scheduled IMS internal/external audits by supporting with relevant evidence documents.
  • Review the PTW documents submitted by contractors.
  • Prepare HSE performance statistics on monthly basis and submit to client representatives as and when required.
  • Conduct HSE monthly meeting with operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Carryout observation tours and reporting them. Keeping track of all HSE incidents & observations and maintain their records as well.
  • Coordinate with Security Team and support them to implement the security standards in all workplaces/facilities.
  • Develop risk assessments/job safety analysis for the operations activities and communicated with workforce to prevent any OHS incidents.
  • Conduct emergency drills in operation areas as per the approved annual drill plan.
  • Ensuring adequate stock of PPE, HSE related consumables and Staff uniforms are ordered and made available to employees.
  • Maintaining records once the PPE & uniforms are purchased and issued to the employees.
  • Stop & report any unsafe conditions or actions.
  • Ensuring proper installation of fire extinguisher, first aid boxes, cones, spill kits, warning tapes and consumables such as first aid box contents, rehydrates, etc. in operation areas.
  • Ensure TBT is conducted regularly with full attendance of employees and maintain TBT attendance, feedback records and HSE TBT & Training registers.

Qualifications

  • Degree/diploma or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety
  • NEBOSH IGC
  • Certified First Aider & Fire Warden
  • Lead Auditor Certifications
  • UAE driving license
