Purpose
As HSSE Team leader, you are responsible to support direct group leader to Implement Safety Management System and Security Management System. Support & develop HSSE co-workers, Maintain an overall risk and control losses. Strengthen the IKEA brand. Manage and develop HSSE team in designated store.
Accountabilities
- Promotes & supports the operation as directed by your direct group leader.
- Maintain and improve the level of safety and security in the store.
- Ensure that Control Room Operators, CCTV Operators & Security Guards are adhering to their JOB Description and support them in achieving their KPI's.
- Ensure that HSSE inspection routines are conducted and corrective actions taken.
- Responsible for verifying all HSSE incidents & cases in designated store.
- Maintain high level of awareness among all co-workers.
- Ensure all HSSE systems are functioning and maintained at an effective operational level at all times.
- Ensure store changes meet the required HSSE standards
- Being proactive in implementing effective control measures and actions to eliminate hazards in coordination with your direct group leader.
- Ensure compliance with IKEA HSSE standards (Group Risk Manual, authority matrix, IKEA HSSE Management system), local regulations and any other directions from HSSE management on a consistent basis via regular series of audits, follow-up, rounds, education & training, and reports.
- Develop, maintain and Conduct HSSE trainings, as needed.
- Respond, control and register incidents related to Health, safety, security and environment in the store.
- Support your direct group leader in completing HSSE monthly reports in monthly basis.
- Support the store business as necessary.
- Support your direct group leader to minimize the net losses related to theft or fraud cases.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
- Minimum 1 years HSSE experience preferably in the retail sector and home furnishing.
- NEBOSH award in health & safety at work) is preferred
- The ability to carry out investigations independently.
- Report & verify all incidents in incident management application
