Job Overview
Our client, a leading MNC in Dubai, is seeking a seasoned HR Director with extensive experience in human resources management across the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large HR teams, developing and implementing HR strategies, and managing vendor partnerships. This role is pivotal in aligning the company's human capital strategy with its business objectives in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with the organization's goals.
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Talent Management:
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Drive performance management processes and leadership development programs.
- Vendor Management:
- Manage and negotiate contracts with HR service providers, including recruitment agencies, benefits providers, and training vendors.
- Ensure the highest standards of service delivery and cost efficiency from external partners.
- Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in the Middle East.
- Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Design and oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to regional market standards.
- Regularly review and update policies to ensure market competitiveness and legal compliance.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure HR practices comply with all local, regional, and global regulations.
- Proactively address and mitigate potential risks related to employment law and workforce management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 20+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 10 years in senior leadership roles.
- Extensive experience in the Middle East, with a deep understanding of regional HR practices, labor laws, and cultural dynamics.
- Proven expertise in vendor management and negotiation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in working in large, complex, and matrixed organizations.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, or similar).
- Experience in change management and organizational transformation.
- Proficiency in HR technologies and systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
